Amyloid-Beta 1-40 ELISA Kit (Human Specificity; 96T)  

1. Complete ELISA kit in sandwich format.  Colorimetric detection at 450 nm.  96T
   
2. The ELISA plate is coated with an affinity purified monoclonal antibody that recognizes amyloid-beta 1-40 at the C-terminus.  A monoclonal antibody conjugated with HRP is used as the detection antibody that reacts with an epitope at approximately the middle of the Abeta1-40 peptide.
   
3. The kit detects amyloid-beta 1-40 in EDTA-plasma, cerebrospinal fluids, serum, cell culture media or brain tissue extract.
4. EIA buffer contains 1% BSA, 0.05% Tween 20 in PBS
5. Incubation times:  Samples with plate;  overnight.  Detection antibody:  1 hr
   
6. Assay range:  7.81 - 500 pg/ml
